Vallie Giompoletti

Vallie Ferretti Giompoletti, 95, of Shaw died Monday, April 19, 2010 at Bolivar Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 22, 2010 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Shaw. Burial will follow in Shaw Cemetery under the direction of Ray Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at the church with a Rosary following at 7 p.m. and a visitation again from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the church, prior to the service.
Mrs. Giompoletti was born on October 11, 1914 in Shaw to John Ferretti and Pasquelini Mazzoli Ferretti. She married Merico Giompoletti.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Merico Giompoletti; a brother, Tullio Ferretti; five sisters, Lena Bernardi, Rosa Faccini, Albina Conico, Ann Kilgore and Louise Belenchia; and her parents, John and Pasquelini Ferretti.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Sheffield (Emory) of Hernando, MS; sons, Joseph Giompoletti (Mildred) of Pearcy, Arkansas, James Giompoletti (Annette) of Bruce, MS, John Giompoletti (Bennie) of Cleveland, MS, Charles Giompoletti of Indianola, MS, Paul Giompoletti (Debbie) of Florence, MS, Robert Giompoletti (Ann) of Madison, MS, Henry Giompoletti (Vicky) of Marianna, Arkansas; a sister, Mary Weaver of Shaw; sixteen grandchildren; and twenty one great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Bryce Giompoletti, Tony Giompoletti, Timothy Giompoletti, Steven Giompoletti, Jason Giompoletti and Grant McCaleb.
